The aim of this page is to alert people to the privacy policies of facebook and any other social networking site. The way all of your information is collected and stored, every page you like, view, comment on, every comment you delete, every photo you upload every private message you send. Each and every movement you make on facebook is recorded, stored and backed up in multiple locations around the world.

My proposition to you is to post using simple ciphers, I'm not hiding anything, I just want to see the look on someones face if some time in the future they look back on my information and only find a series of gibberish posts.

Example Cipher

Here is a simple example:

In this example cipher the letters of the alphabet have
been moved along by five spaces. So rather than using the
normal letter you now use the one it corresponds to on the
layer below. For example something as mundane and simple
as 'See you later' becomes 'NZZ TJP GVOZM'.

Now all you have to do is make sure the people you want to
understand know how many spaces the letters have been
moved and they will be able to decipher it easily.

One time pad/ perfect secrecy

For those of you with more time/patients/interest you could try a 'One time pad'.

The one time pad is a type of encryption which has been proven to be impossible to crack if used correctly. If the key is truly random, as large as or greater than the plaintext, never re-used in whole or in part, and kept secret, the ciphertext will be impossible to decrypt or break without the key.
